DR. CHARLES RODDIE
CEO

Charles has a BA in Mathematics (first class) from Trinity College, Cambridge, and a PhD in Economics from Princeton. He has lectured in Mathematics and Economics at Oxford and Cambridge universities. He is a fellow at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.

DR. KEVIN CROOKS
CTO

Kevin has a PhD in Mathematics from Cambridge, where he studied numerical methods and enjoyed explaining mathematical ideas. He has since become an experienced software developer and is now combining these skills at Summatic.

DANIEL APPLEBY, CFA
COO

Daniel graduated with a mathematics degree from York before pursuing a career in finance. He is experienced within the start-up space, having successfully founded a tuition business and worked as a manager at Monzo whilst completing his university studies. He cares passionately about education, having completed numerous projects within this field for the United Nations.

VP

Liu is responsible for making sure we have a smooth and supported service for our users, and for partnerships to expand usage of our assessment and interactive textbook technology.

ANGELA LIM

Angela has a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines.
She has worked as a technical writer for 8 years and as a private tutor of mathematics and programming.

GRACE TAYLOR
Content Writer 

Grace has an MPhil in Sociology from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Government from Cornell University. She has previously worked as an assistant editor at Cornell and as an associate paralegal with an asset management firm in New York.

Business Development

António, is an Economics graduate from the University of Bristol. He has a passion for mathematics and has always loved helping peers and younger students grasp complex concepts. He is dedicated to supporting Summatic’s mission to make high-quality educational resources accessible to students and teachers. With a keen interest in business development, he’s committed to driving growth and fostering partnerships for the benefit of the education community.
