Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the https://www.summatic.co.uk website and the Summatic or MathSpire applications (the “Service”) operated by Summatic Ltd and MathSpire Ltd respectively (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

As part of using the app, you may be invited to join as a member of a school or college (an “Institution”). This is a feature and not a requirement of using the Service. 

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.  

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Purchases 

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your email address and full name.

Subscriptions 

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”). You will be billed on a recurring basis. 

Content

Our Service allows you to complete question sets, and the results may be visible to certain people in your Institution. You are responsible for the Institutions that you choose to join, and therefore people that can view your results.  

Links To Other Web Sites 

We have no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services. 

Intellectual Property Rights  

Unless otherwise indicated, the Service is our proprietary property and all functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Service (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks contained therein are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws. 

The Content and the trademarks are provided on the Service “AS IS” for your information and personal use only. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Service and no Content or trademarks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.

Provided that you are eligible to use the Service, you are granted a limited license to access and use the Service and to download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access solely for your personal, non-commercial use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in and to the Service, Content, and the trademarks.  

Changes  

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 7 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
